Errors from tack/Seedo swap

When I swap the tach/speedo in 2014 F56 Turbo for a refurbished one should I expect any issues (ie) error codes.

Thanks in advance.

The combi (gauge cluster) on my car failed about a year ago and needed to be replaced under warranty. If I recall correctly, there was coding needed. You would be surprised how much is controlled by the unit. Everything from oil level, tire pressure, and other diagnostics to the odometer, fuel level readings, and even the turn signal clicking and seatbelt “gong” are controlled by it. I drove 35 miles to the dealership “blind”. Had to use Waze in my phone to get a speed reading.

You need it coded, unless the EPROM chip is new then you will have a tamper dot and the wrong mileage.
