PSA: Harbor Freight jack stands recall

Thanks for this, I ran right out to the garage and checked mine. Different part number. But this may be important for someone!

My ProLift 3 ton (T-6903) ones look
exactly like the 61196 ones and
have a bit of a hair trigger on
collapsing the extension.
Can’t return them as didn’t get
them from HF but will stop
using them.

I had two Harbor Freight 61196 versions (3 ton) and took them back yesterday. Swapped with no questions. Thanks for posting.

I sent them an email asking if they are the same and under recall. Meanwhile I plan to store them.
