08 fJCW - low boost issue?

Hi all.
Having an issue with my 2008 fJCW.
it feels as if I’m lacking a substantial amount of boost pressure. I have an ultra gauge setup in the car which is peaking at about 10psi. Car feels sluggish, and as if it doesn’t want to go anywhere near the redline. The wastegate looks ok, and the locking nuts on the rod appear to be set correctly. It’s running a GFB dv+, so I’m assuming it’s not the diverter valve but will still pull this and check. I’m seeping oil from my vacuum pump so going to be changing that out too at the weekend but doubtful it’ll solve my issues. No codes stored and no eml or half eml light either. The turbo is only about 18 months old too. If anyone could shed some light on this it’d be much appreciated!

Brian.

One thing to check is to make sure charge pipes and any airflow tubes are on tight - had these symptoms when one of the charge pipes disconnected. See this diagram for examples https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...06#13712753075

Drive it til it throws a light or breaks. Difficult to diagnose without some type of light, code or engine condition.

Switch back to your stock DV and see if your boost goes back up. There have been plenty of people having problems with the GFB DV+. If that doesn’t bring the boost back then look at all tubing from the turbo to throttle body.
