do I need this tube?

there is a second tube that goes to the air box, do I need that tube or can I just take it out and block it off? (Not my engine bay I have aem intake)

I was just faced with this dilemma as well. I installed the NM intake.

I asked MarioKart and he suggested I keep it. The NM Instructions also said the same thing for what its worth. I guess any fresh air going to the general area of the open filter is good. Unless your AEM intake is a closed system in which case I dont see any detriment to yanking it.

That tube draws in fresh air, probably can remove it, no sensors running to it.

Draws in fresh air. Used it on the aem intake i installed on my N14 JCW. It connect to it. Also on the N18 AEM kit it also connects to it via that part below.

AS others have said, keep it. The AEM intake actually still uses it, too.
