Outsourcing my dechroming approach

Here is my dilemma which you all get to help me decide.

I have been steadily dechroming and "blacking out" my Mini. Door handles, belt line, front grill, scuttles, fender flares are all done.

The last pieces piece puzzle are the headlight and taillight trim. I have ordered black tr pieces, but the pandemic is slowing delivery and now they are a month out.

Do I wait or just paint them myself?

I would wait.... I had painted the ones on my R56 and was never happy with them.

Thanks. I think I will. I'm happy with the bits I've painted, but these are so prominent and take a beating.
