Randy is coming for sure on Feb 19-20, 2005 at Bay Bridge Motors. NorCal MINIs is going to host a BBQ lunch on Sat Feb 19.

Also there will be a after party dinner at Vito's Ny Trattoria in San Jose.

I'm on the east coast so I can't make your PP, but I was wondering what is the going price for a 15% pulley installed? Also, is there any difference in the quality or price of the various pulleys being sold for the MINI? Thanks.

Randy Webb from Webb Motorsports (http://www.webbmotorsports.com) does the pulley parties and he travels all over the country doing them. You may want to check with your local clubs to see if there are any coming to your area.

He installed the Alta pulleys and charges $400 for the pulley + installation. Quality is always up for debate, but I chose Alta when I got mine.

 

I just checked out your list of mods, and man that must be a record! Thanks for the info on the pulleys. I think I'll email Randy and see if he plans any trips to the mid Atlantic area this spring. If anyone has any recommended installers within 100 miles of Hagerstown, MD please post or email me. Thanks.

Hi Wen, if we can get enough people to do the dyno, why not, I have talked to a Tom - the dyno operator from Bauer Porsche. He has agreed to help us last Sep. However, we didn't have enough people. If we can get about 5 cars to do the dyno, then I will call Tom again.

It mentions on that site that you have to bring your own parts - that is not the case. Sign up for the event with a slot and the parts you would like to have installed, and I ship all of them ahead of time and charge you at the event.

Webb Motorsports catalog items are always available, and you can ask on the thread for specific install possibilities.
