Wiring Harness Layout

Hi folks. I am new to Minis and bought one for the adventure. 2009 R56 S Cooper. It didn't run and I like to fix things like that. I have rebuilt the top end and removed almost everything other than the short block and the transmission. Anyways I am throwing it all back together now, resourcing docs and videos online. I have a Bentley on the way but I am trying to do more while I wait for it and a few other pieces to finish. I am stuck on trying to figure out where all of the backside plugs are going on the wiring harness. Does anyone have a pic or several of the harness connections? I figured out the front side of the engine but the back is another story beyond the injectors and a few special sized plugs that only fit in one spot. I am a bit antsy to drive it, I have never driven a Mini. Thanks in advance!

I dont have pictures BUT try newtis.info you can search the sensor and look up the location of it.

On the engine itself though, did you replace the oil filter housing gasket, turbo oil feed line, timing chain, and rear water pipe

Sure did along with a pile of other components. Water pump, friction wheel, water pipe, thermostat, all seals and gaskets I could find and a few sensors to boot. Radiator and condenser will be here tomorrow. I’ll probably have it finished before the Bentley gets here. Shipping dates out a week to two weeks out. I guess Pandemic shipping isn’t as accurate as it normally would be.

I have actually been using this! 🤣 I didn’t know it by name. I have the link saved. I have been pulling torque values from it where I needed it and sequencing of components going back on the engine. I guess I just need to find a 3D type pic, I’ve seen a few and then try to label the plugs.
