Low power and low boost , need advise

My car as of today I went to start it and I heard the belt squeal on start up and it continued to squeal loud for about 5min , then it only squeaks now for a few seconds on start up but when I go wot it only makes 5lbs of boost and as I apply anything more than half throttle I hear a bad kinda scratchy noise front the engine that's very hard to describe. My car has a 15% pulley so I dont know if it even has the correct belt as I've only ever seen 11lb of boost and once it got past 9psi it made a kinda loud squeal that I'm sure was the belt and I'm willing to bet it had been slipping since I've had the car . Could I be correct in the assumption my belt or tensioner or both are bad ? I have no codes and it idles fine with no odd noises and I couldn't see the tensioner bounce at idle at all or when revved . It only makes that bad noise when giving a decent amount of throttle .
also I think I have the alta tensioner thingy , is the alta one a hexagonal shape that has nuts on either side to I think adjust it ???? If so ,could it just need adjustment ? If so can someone link a how to and I could try that 1st.

Sounds like it could be the wrong size belt and you're getting belt slippage.

What length belt should I use? I keep finding conflicting part #s as I try and run the search ..
15% pulley n stock crank
1379mm and a 4rib , is that correct . Then I could run to a local parts store and hopefully they have one on shelf.
and to adjust the alta tensioner , to tighten the tension . Do I loosen the 2 retaining nuts and rotate the middle piece towards me or away from me? So rotate it towards engine or away ? I would assume rotating it away/ towards me would expand it and make the tension . But lol idk.

Throw the ALTA tensioner in the garbage...even if you have the right size belt it stops the tensioner spring from working properly. It is a fixed length...factory is a gas charged strut for a reason...it allows the pulley to move with spring pressure and apply proper tension to the belt.

6 rib belt

He is correct you need to go back to the stock setup. That Alta part doesn't allow the tensioner to move correctly so no matter how you adjust it the belt will be loose at some load and too tight at a different load, or just too tight all the time.

Check your crankshaft damper also. If it's stock, the core could have separated and the pulley is not spinning at the proper speed. As a comparison, I've seen 14.5psi of boost on my S at less than full throttle.

Check your crankshafter damper also. If it's stock, it's possible that the rubber core has separated from the pulley. As a comparison, my S has registered 14.5psi boost at less than full throttle.

Boost is a big deal. +1 on what Way had to say. The hydraulic damper on the stock setup keeps constant tension on the belt. Part of your noise could have been belt slap. Your new post/video/audio hasn't shown up.

My bad. With so many people home from work, the forum is running a bit slow. That new audio does not sound like a crankshaft damper to me and the fact that you have achieved 15lbs. of boost should mean it's not slipping. As much as I hate to say it, that sounds more like a crank bearing going/gone bad.

my crank pulley does have abit of a wiggle and I only got the boost back to 15 ,which is the highest I've seen by tightening the check out of the alta tensioner .
What should I look into to check into the bearings that doesn't require extensive work ? Or is that not possible ? Should i look for metal shavings in my oil or anything ?? Now I'm scared .
