Leaking Convertible update

Got a call from Mini Executive Office today, basically they had me call the service/parts manager at Mini of Towson. Turns out they have also had a few issues, we people bringing in leaking convertibles. The manager was very nice and basically he lives close to me, so this sunday hes going to swap cars with me and take mine to the shop and have them look at it. He said there hasn't been a leak they couldn't fix yet. So will see what happens.

Your original letter was regarding MINI of Sterling and MINI of Richmond right? From reading that, I didn't see any mention of MINI of Townsend. So are you dealing with this (third) dealership now because they have dealt with this already?

yep

I guess I am working with a third dealer now, but Mini seems to regard towson very highly and if they say they can fix it, why not give them a chance.

Howard,

I hope you have luck getting your Cabrio fixed. Sounds like they are doing the right thing for you. I know how upset I would be if my Cabrio leaked

Aren't British-built cars great? So much character!

I'm not familiar with leaking problems. Not to sound flipant, but I drive with the top down. It does go up, only in the rain (not snow) but no water yet. Is there something I should be looking for?
