Question Muffler delete vs JCS pro exhaust on 2019 MCS

Any thoughts on sound difference between just a muffler delete vs the $2000 JCW Pro Exhaust? I know the JCW pro exhaust comes with a tune, but the main thing I am interested in is sound. I have deleted my muffler for $150 and put on chrome split tips. Looks good, has a bit of a drone at highway speeds, so considering going with the JCW pro exhaust so I can “switch on” the muffler when I get tired of the drone.

JCW exhaust sounds awesome and on sale. Not 2000.00 , right now around 1K with free shipping. Then you will need the tips also. I would buy a MINI used over stock if it had it already, If your neighbors get angry just close the valve.

*** If you have a newer MINI production: 3/2019 TO 7/2019 and the grommet on the main wire harness is too small to seal you will need ES164380 to finish the install as MINI has an update on the newer MINIs. ***

Wow!

That is a great price!
Is their an additional charge for the remap, outside of dealer charge?

And does anyone know what the dealer charges for the remap?

Thanks!

Think they will charge one hour service, Give them a call and say, hey i already got the system new, just need price to program/flash. You can install this system at home or with some MINI friends. Then drive over and get flashed.

Install DIY and factory install PDF : https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...tallation.html

See that note above about the grommet needed if you have a later production.
