R55 Any tips for getting angle eye fake fog lamp off w/o taking bumper off?

So when trying fix a loose canbus LED bulb in my fake angle eye fog lamp on my R55, the bulb was loose and fell out and is stuck inside the lens.

Almost had it when tried to fish it out with a bendy straw and chewing gum but no luck, then spent an hour getting the gum out when it fell off the straw...lol

tried a small hand vac to suck it out but no luck.

gonna go to harbor freight and try to find some long hemostat type pliers.

i see there’s a couple of screws on the backside of the lens housing, is there a way to open up the lens housing without taking the whole front bumper off?

Regards,

“feeling pretty stupid here in Alabama...”

I don't know about an R55, but this technique works on an R56: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...nt-how-to.html post 11.
