Foxwell NT510 Elite vs Schwaben.....
Foxwell NT510 Elite vs Schwaben.....
What is the justification to pay a premium of $70.00 more for Schwaben over Foxwell if both are the same thing when ordered specific for BMW? Is it just the color?
Anyway, I bought the Foxwell NT510 Elite for $169 not because I need it now but for the future I may expect to need a scanner.

Good question, any answers out there??

Like previously stated, the Schwaben scanner comes with a hefty price increase (presumably for the custom branding). The guts are Foxwell and the update software is also Foxwell.

Thank you... hoping the Foxwell can indeed perform battery registration.
I'm changing batteries in an R56.... and this will be be my justification for the purchase.
Looks like foxwell has a sale through today.... and I can also get another car on on the deal for the Mazda CX-5 in the driveway !

I've got the Foxwell NT510...believe it was about $140 when I bought it earlier this year. Had to pay an additional $60 to get diagnostics for my Chrysler's...I read the same thing...they are the same tools.
Are these tools able to reset the fuel adaptations? I'd rather purchase a unit like this as opposed to the K+CAN w/ INPA route.
I currently have a host of codes that need taken care of, most dealing with running cat-less (P0420, P2270, & P0036) and throttle body adaptation errors (P1229, P0123, and P0223).
Any help appreciated.
