06 Factory JCW Price

I found 06 factory jcw with 99k miles. it comes with jcw aero body kits & LSD but there are some leaks I've found under the hood. the owner says valve cover gasket & crank sensor o ring and power steering pump hose. and he said ac doesn't blow cold and was told it needs ac recharge and some minor stuff as well as sagging headliner and rear seats deleted and rear quarter panel needs adjustment since he installed aftermarket amp.
and it needs hood & trunk struts. since I have no garage, if i get this car, i might have to leave it to service to get them fixed. the car price is $4000.
oh it has 1 dent on trunk latch & 1 on rear panel (both 50 cents size), one tire on driver's side needs to be replaced.
would it be a good deal? what do you guys think??

All of the mechanical issues you described are normal for this age. There will me more items on that list. Due for fuel filter change, probably will need some suspension items (LCA bushings, possibly tie rods or ball joints), may need new belt and tensioner. O2 sensors may be due soon too. The boot/bonnet struts are cheap and easy., just buy OEM for those. The headliner isn’t cheap, but can be a DIY project in a few hours, if you are comfortable with removing a good portion of the interior.

On the plus side, the JCW + Aero + slicktop is a highly desirable combination. As long as you understand that the $4k asking price is more like a down payment, and you could easily double that by the time you are done, then go for it. These cars aren’t really solid investments, but they are a hell of a lot of fun for the price.
