Hey everyone new to the forum and to minis. I have a question regarding the BCM. I currently have a 2006 Mini s 6sp with 106k. I bought the car as water damage from the leaky sun roof 😵. The car ran drive fine until I pulled the BCM out to clean the eroded wires and connectors. The white connector and Green connector pretty much fell apart from the water as soon as I unplugged them. My question is, is there away to re code the ECM to disengage the key immobilizer? Or is my best bet to buy a used BCM and connectors?
