Last week, on the way to work, I hit a deer (or what was left of it) that was hit by the semi in front of me. This was at about 10 pm and because of the darkness, I never saw the deer run in front of the semi. I hit the body of the deer as it came out from under the semi. Front bumper, radiator support, ac condensor, passenger side wheel well liner, fog light, are definitely toast. I don't want to put it thru the insurance, because it's an '06 R50 with 220000 miles on the clock. They may just total it. So I've been looking for parts to fix it myself.

To cut down on cost, I have been looking for a facelift front bumper already painted Chili Red. I found one online for a good price in great condition, but it is from an '05 R53 S. Will this fit the R50?

Totaling the car, or leaving it not repaired is not an option.

 

I don't see why it wouldn't, but I think the trim parts are different (spoiler, grille, etc.). What I would do is look at the part numbers for the bumper bars and see if they are the same. If they are, then it should just bolt on. However, I am not 100% sure.

 

Yes the R53 bumper will go right on.
You may have to move the fog lights as you and move them in the mounts to change the position of them it's very simple ones the bumper is off.
