just got my second "Welcome to the Neighborhood" kit, as I was Zainoing Robin for the first time.. fitting, eh?

Anyways, it comes with all of the old favorites, including Traffic Bingo and the Drive belt/rubber band... But with a convertable, it comes with a couple new things. First, the encyclopedia of open motoring, and also a prety spiffy "Customize Your Body" sheet. I scanned it in, but with the metallic sheen on it, the scanner didn't like it too much. Suffice to say, the lettering is silver, and much easier to read, and the "decals" are gold...



K, the words are REALLY hard to read on this screen, so I'll type them out.

LET'S CUSTOMIZE OUR BODIES. Let's detail our deltoids. Let's emblazon our biceps. Let's get "Mother" tattoos in honor of Mother Nature. Let's wear racing numbers. Let's burn rubber. Let's apply aloe vera. LET'S MOTOR.

On the back, it has a warning, too... "always wear sun block and sunglasses to protect yourself from harmful UV rays and glares from jealous motorists." (:

 

Thanks Trplezero! Looks pretty cool! I would have thought that the BINGO wouldn't have been included as I figured they'd include something more appropriate for top down motoring but the tattoos look very cool! Thanks for the info!!!

 

I have spare of the convertible poster of:
* the dude jumping into silver convertible
* the one of the racer jumping into a convertible at irwindale
* the history of the go kart (not sure if I want to part with this last one).

I also have a couple of:
* the evel kinevel iron on
* the hot rod sticker
* the little pop-out car cards (pop-out and fold into a car).

I think I have a few more spares, need to get organized.

Hey aminicooper! What's a Hot Rod sticker? Would that be the MINI Maverick stickers or is this something new?or old? How were you able to get multiples of your posters?

And anybody else, I'm looking for the Cliff Notes, the Whiptastic Handling and the Park it on your desk cars (except the Velvet Red/Yellow w/checkered roof). I have a couple extra of those if anybody wants them. I don't have much to trade as I only managed to get one of most things I have. So I'm willing to send ya some $$ for the stuff I'm looking for. :smile:

Oh - and I managed to "pick up" from the dealer today - 2 of the little plastic lift covers that come in the Cabrios on the up/down top buttons that say "STOP - Ask yourself, is it really necessary to close the top? Be honest". When mine was delivered, it seemed to be missing...

There might be a few other things I'm looking for - just can't think of them right now - tired...
