I would love to make one of these two photos my signature if somebody would be kind enough to touch them up with Photoshop (I don't know how).

Since I've been using photoshop today, I edited a pic and put it in your signature.

As much as I like my '05 MCS, I just love the old Mini's. I drove up next to one the other day, and it made my MCS llok like an SUV.

Nothing "disrupts" a local MINI club meeting like the arrival of a classic. It's like a celebrity making an appearance....draws an instant crowd of eager admirers.

I met a friend of mine (who is a new owner of a classic Mini) at our local MINI dealership a few months back. Of course, he drove the Mini and I predicted to him in advance what would happen. Sure enough, he arrived, and much to his surprise and delight (remember, he's kinda new to this) every sales person, visitor, and potential motorer in the building wandered out for a good long look and out-and-out gawking. (...it was GREAT for the dealership...and my friend was flabbergasted!)

It's so much fun (and somehow a rare occurance, imo) to be part of an automotive scene that is so positively intertwined with its classic predecessor and that somehow the two vehicals, while so different, remain so much the same. (thankfully)

Here's Max guarding the New and the 'Old'. Only 5 years seperating these two MIni's.

I forget how much difference there is in size but the inside of the classic is designed so that it feels huge!

WOW,

Two great looking cars. I know of no other car that has so much going for it, old or new.

I love them both.

I absolutely love the plates!

How do I get a copy of the picture from the front? I'd love to be able to show that to people who tell me that the MINI is too small!! It looks like a freakin' limo compared to the Classic.

Right click on the picture and "Save picture as" to anywhere you want on your hard drive. You can also name it anything you want...

edit: Oh, and I love those pics. Thanks for sharing!

We actually did a squish between our new and old with my son's 3rd grade classmates for fun. More kids fit into the classic. The look on the teacher's face when she realized more could fit in the small one was really funny.

Great pictures of your two Rick. Makes for a special signature.
