I never had a mini. I have no idea of this particular car. My past cars were Honda and Now driving a ‘16 Subaru Outback. Over the weekend my cousin dropped me a 2008 Mini Cooper S R56. He’s planning to sell the car but thought that I might be interested before he post it for sale. He already did started modding the car. So I decided to join this forum to get familiarized with the R56 and see if I’ll be really interested in owning one. Here’s the car

Yep, nice looking Mini. Keep in mind, unless you are handy with a wrench, these cars are stupid expensive to maintain and repair unlike Honda or Subaru. Think European sports car..

 

For sure do some research and make sure it's had the normal repairs and get under it to make sure it doesn't have oil leaks, water pump leak, timing chain issues as these things are normal failures on the R56

If those are real Volk wheels they are nice.
