Better exaust option for f55

Before everyone recommends $1000 + systems like the JCW or remus of course that is what I would prefer but I'm really looking for a cheaper way to go. I bought a 2016 mini cooper in perfect condition except the stock exhaust tips are cooked the chrome is completely eaten off and they look terrible. I tried taking them off to paint them but they are stuck. When I was looking at replacing them completely they were a couple hundred bucks which seems like a waste.

I also want a slightly more aggressive sound so I have been looking at the dinan and one from vip custom parts. Anyone have any recommendations along those lines?

I would also recommend the Remus as I've installed several and they are perfect.

But if you want something for less that is still good I would go with the Quicksilver

Keep in mind the cheaper end is just going to be a rear muffler rather than a complete exh. The dinan is just a muffler and take your time installing as you will likely need to bend things around to get it to sit straight as that is what I had to do on the last one.

God damn that remus exhaust is sexy but I'm not spending 2k. I really don't want to spend that kind of money right now.

I'm also looking for something I could do myself with limited knowledge and would rather not wire a flap that I would like always leave open.

Has anyone used either of the 2 I mentioned? Or trust either?

I've got the non-resonated Remus and fully catless. I love it. But if I were to go with a more budget friendly exhaust I've liked the NM from what I've heard of it in videos. Haven't heard it in person though.
