I’ve got to get my SC pulley installed, and possibly a lot more. I went to pass a beat up old Subaru this morning and discovered he had a bit of a sleeper... he floored it and left me for dead...I tried to keep up but backed off as he disappeared over the horizon.

Feel deflated...I thought I was quick.

 

How embarrassing! That SC pulley is worth 15hp. Get it on quick!

 

He had 12 inch flames shooting out of his exhaust with every upshift...I think his engine had seen some love.

 

Car probably had a WRX swap or similar. The ole Mini isn’t going to compete with those when properly sorted. Not with the factory blower, certainly.

 

Yea, I wouldn't feel bad if that is what was under his hood. Stock or the standard mods are not going to compete, with what like 250 hp? Now put some turns in and then you could have a shot.

 

Yeah, leave my Forester XT wagon alone.

 

Mini's are an experience, not fast off the line, not a high speed vehicle, just a FUN factor car. There are tons of pocket rockets that have well over 200+ hp. WRX's have 268-310hp, NO WAY you're going to get that in a Mini unless you're going to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$ did I say $$$$$$$$. Stop writing those checks and just enjoy the Experience
