Invisicord install for 06 R53 with power mirror

I'm trying to install the Invisicord power cord for my radar detector tapping the power in my mirror.

Wiring diagrams are like rocket surgery to me. I thought according to the attached diagram that I would get power from the GN/BL wire in position 3, and ground from the BR/SW wire in position 10.

That did nothing.

Any help?

You're trying to get power from the mirror?
Easy way is to run an add-a-fuse from the drivers side fusebox, then snake the power cord up and tuck it behind the A pillar and header. Works like a charm.

Yes, I'm trying to get power from the mirror. The Invisicord makes it pretty easy too. You just plug two pins into the back side of the wiring connection. No snaking necessary. I just need help identifying the correct wires.

Bumping to see if anyone can help me figure out if I'm reading this correctly. Please refer to original question.

Thanks

I am pretty sure that you can't get power from the mirror as the "power" there is pulse width modulated (PWM) by the BCM to dim the lights. Unless your invisible thingy is designed to be able to cope with the PWM'ed power which is a feature I have not seen. However if there is a will there is a way for good engineers.
