Kuat Vagabond X Roof Rack on Mini R56. Anyone Use This?
Just stumbled on this setup a few days ago and I’ve never heard of this company before. Their Vagabond X looks like exactly what I’m looking for in a rack

-basket for versatility
-raised backend that should IDEALLY not rub on hatch.
does anyone have this rack? The shorter version obviously. Does the hatch rub? Do the mounting brackets line up well with the roof rack cross bars. There seems to be limited adjustability for them to line up correctly.
the rack is pricey, but it would replace my need for a tow hitch rack and the work that comes with it.
