I found this on eBay. Thinking about it for my R52. Total USD is roughly $850.

Just an option.

Pretty much on par with a new Wilwood kit. And far heavier.

Get the Wilwood kit before that ebay stuff. Better product and you don't have to go to UK for any warranty issues!

I messaged more info.

The issue is value for the purchase. If price point is numero uno then just buy some slotted rotors, alternate pads and ss flex lines. This is the "brake enhancement" format and a worthy bottom dollar investment. A few months on all that however and you likely find yourself right back here again having wasted $300-400 only to find it's really "not all that". So you end up buying 2X.

But if a customer wants true improvement you have to look at the big picture; that means fixed 4 or 6 pot calipers on larger rotors. Rotors become key here; more mass, more leverage, lower operational temps, and in the case of the 2pc; lower rotational mass. There's just nothing worth buying at the $500 price point compared to what you get at the $900 one.

Agreed. It also depends on the purpose for the brakes. If you plan on putting in some serious track time I would spend the extra money on known good products. If you are just looking to upgrade for looks then the ebay will suffice but then you might as well get those cheap plastic rotor covers found on a lot or 6cyl Mustangs and save up for other show mods :p

If just looking for a good braking improvement over stock for DD use and the occasional spirited canyon carving I recommend what Todd mentioned first; brake enhancement. Better pads and rotors with upgraded SS lines. If you already have the JCW or R56 front calipers getting a good set of slotted rotors and carbon-ceramic pads will do nicely with a pair of Goodridge/WMW or similar SS lines.

I was looking for something more for spirited driving (no track use). Will take your advice and upgrade my rotors, pads and brake lines since I already have the R53 JCW calipers.

Thanks for all the good advice.
