MINI crank seal installation tool (shown in the first picture). For sale or For rent.

It is quite a expensive tool for how simple it actually is, but it really takes the guess work out of the equation: It has a lip which when bottoms out will set the correct depth of the seal, and you don't need to worry about the seal going in crooked either. A must have if you plan to get the job done right the first time! Shoot me a message if you are interested, it will be much much cheaper than buying it up-front.

Yes, I still have the tool for sale. The seal is behind the harmonic balancer.
