My '04 R53 has bad tweeter speakers in the doors by the door pulls.....I just picked up a pair of '06 door pulls with tweeters in them, wire pigtails are also there......I looked at the rear of the speakers and both say they are for the HK system.

Question....with the HK tweeters work in my '04 MINI even though it does not have the HK sound system? Or do I have to find a pair of standard tweeters? (or aftermarket from Crutchfield)

Just for information, I installed the HK tweeters into my R53 without the HK amp system.....they work and sound fine.....
