$3500 more than 2019 for the clubman and countryman jcw!!! What are your thoughts? Though technically, it comes with the $1250 driver assistance package as standard now, so more like a $2250 price increase

 

Not sure what your point is trying to be unless your asking opinions on if the 2019 JCW is worth the extra price hike, answer is NO (even with driver assistance).
They've gotten outrageously priced now and for those that want a new one, sharpen up your negotiation skills is all I can say because you still going to pay a premium to get in one.

Yeah the 2020 will have a completely different BMW engine (300 HP) and maybe different transmission too. Heck my R58 JCW was $41k in 2014 and it isn't fully loaded either.

EDIT:MotoringFile.com recently posted all of the 2020 Mini prices. 2020 JCW Clubman: $39,400. That's with the leather seats sorta like mine (which were $2600), the 301HP engine and 8 speed AT, I think 18" pretty cool wheels (at least in the pix), HK sound system, pretty loaded up. In March the digital driver's display comes out for it too. It might even come with a sunroof. Sounds pretty good to me.
