Looking to upgrade the Seats and Audio in my GP1 - any suggestions?

After the long 10 hour drive each way to the Dragon this year I am convinced that the original seats just don't cut it for me, always wanted to get some of the EU recaro ones or close to.
Audio: Looking for better sound in speakers as I have blown my OEM twice now.. and the head unit in general for bluetooth, gps, streaming etc... Had the Pioneer AVIC in my former 2006 MCS and I see they and Jensen have similar products with flip up screens.

any suggestions appreciated - cheers.

Depends on how high end you want your stereo, but I installed the Pioneer MVH-S512BS. Selected it because you can get an almost perfect color match to the rest of the dash, I can stream Pandora and Sirius so I don't need the additional tuner, and it is easily reversible in case you want to go back to stock for any reason. The only downside is the face is polished and convex so reflections in bright daylight make the display difficult to read.

I blew the stock speakers almost immediately. I have Infinity Reference Series speakers (https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R65...cx.html?tp=106) sitting on my dining room table to install this weekend. My hope is they will allow me to have the volume and sound quality I need.

I did not go ultra high end for two reasons: money and with the lack of sound deadening in the car the high quality sound is wasted. But that is my opinion and priority set

I purchased from Crutchfield even though there are probably cheaper sources - they include necessary mounting kits and I am sure the unit will work in my car. YMMV.

Trying to decide between re-upholstering my seats and simply putting them aside and installing something more sporty. I like these. How are you going to get around the airbag issue?

There is a 5ohm resistor you can install to eliminate that.
