need lsd help

hello everyone. I hope i am posting this in the right place... I am looking for someone in MA or RI to install a 06 factory LSD in my 04 R53. If I could tackle this myself, I would. But I lack the space and some of the tools to do it right ( not to mention some of the knowledge) Can anyone help me out, or point to someone who can? I would really appreciate it!

Thank you in advance(I hope)
Bruce

I think you better research this, from what I have heard, the shift cables will need to be swapped out as well......the '06 cables are different from your "04 car........

Why would you want a sub-par OE LSD, when you could put the time and effort into something like a Quaife?

I am having a tough time finding any good info on putting the 05 lsd in the 04. Every one I pull up is for aftermarket lsd's. Where should I be looking??

Putting in the LSD is very easy after market or OE. If you need instruction, you probably shouldn't be the one doing it. The hard parts are getting the gearbox off the car and put it back. Madness Mini has a video on Youtube on installing an LSD.

The differential inside shouldn’t be any different. For confirmation, check aftermarket differentials. If the same aqua ice, Peloquin, or OS Giken unit is used for all 2002-2006 S-cars, you should be able to just swap them out.

I’m in Dartmouth, MA if you decide you want help. I’m not going to do the whole thIng for you, but if you have some DIY skill and want help, I can provide that.
