NXT & More Garage Party on Sat. Dec. 18

Well folks, it's that time of month again to get your MINI nice and shiny! Especially after the heavy rains we've had these past few weeks. This Saturday c3 (Cooper Club for Charities) we will be detailing MINI's using all Meguiar's products. Just bring your washed MINI and we'll buff it out and make it shiny again using Meguiar's NXT products.

So keep this date open if you'd like to get your MINI nice and shiny. It's free!

Current itinerary:

1.) NXT Application and Buffing
2.) Ian Cull Auto-up Window Install
3.) MTH download (for anyone that needs it)
4.) VacuCam Demo's or playtime
5.) GB Male Voice Update for MINI Nav (just added)
6.) Club discussion and brainstorming for our next Charity event in March at AMVIV2005.

Date: Saturday Dec. 18th
Location: 12571 Milton Street, Los Angeles, CA 90066
cell: 310-985-0333

This event is open to anyone-- c3 members or not. Please rsvp to NAM@c3club.org if you are coming so we can get a headcount for food and drinks.

There is no fee to attend, so come on by!

This gathering is very tempting! The itinerary looks good and it is well worth the drive to LA. However, I must get some holiday baking done! I would love to get together with you guys, but it will have to be after the holidays.

Also - thank you for doing these on Saturdays. I have commitments on Sundays so no MINI stuff on Sundays ever.

Hi TMGRobyn,

I know you would come from a long way, so thanks for letting me know of your interest, and that Saturdays work better. I wasn't aware of that, and will keep that in mind for future events.

Just FYI, we'll be getting some of their latest products due to be released in late January or Feb. for our next meeting. We got a hands on preview this past Saturday and the products are really cool. They show pics on their website, but it's nothing like seeing and using them in person. I think all of us came away from the event ready to buy!

We haven't quite decided if we'll do these detailing parties monthly or every two months yet. I know SCMM is signed up to do a detailing event with Meguiars in January, so that may conflict with some people for that month--and we may just do it next in Feb. Keep an eye out for notices as we'll play it by ear!

Tire Rotation

Oh yeah, the schedule only keeps getting more full. I will be rotating my tires--so anyone else that wants to, can do it at the same time.

Update

This event is open to anybody, whether you belong to a club or not. We will be using and teaching how to use Meguiar's products. You will get a chance to detail your own MINI using a PCDA if you want, or just sit back and let us work on it.

There will be food, drinks, mods, and lots of fun! The event is free, although checks made out to CAN (Cure Autism Now) are gratefully accepted if you would like to make a contribution.

So come on out to get your MINI Shiny and clean and meet some new faces and have some fun this Saturday!! Just 2 days away!

Richard

Pictures from Event

OMG, what an incredible day we had yesterday!!! Thanks to everyone who attended! We had 11 MINI's and we washed, detailed, played, and socialized into the wee hours of the evening!!! What a great group of people!! Everyone worked so hard--at times we had 5 people working on a single MINI. They got to do everything from learning how to claybar, to using the PCDA with #83, to using NXT and Gold Class over that! We buffed out scratches and dings, and made all the MINI's glossy! Some began with finishes that felt like sandpaper, and were soon turned into smooth as glass finishes! We used all Meguiar's chemicals and products, although we did use some other brands of microfiber towels because I didn't Meguiar's Ultimate Wipes to go around.

To cap it off, one of our members baked an incredible MINI birthday cake in the colors of the b-day boys MINI!! It looked and tasted fantastic! The birthday was actually a surprise that we put together for our member. All in all, it was an incredible day!! Some pics are below and the rest can be found on our website:

Thanks, Richard, for hosting a fun event! Jirawan's cake was so cute....only I had the nerve to slice into it! YIKES!! (And it even had runflats: Ding Dongs for tires!)

Meguiar's products are awesome and easy to use! (Not that I lifted a finger...tee hee! I decorated for the party and was treated to the detailing by those present....THANKS!!) Wanda looks BRAND-NEW...and so gorgeously shiny!

We have lots of great ideas for raising funds for CAN. I encourage everyone in the area who is able to, to join with C3 as we plan events to raise monies for Cure Autism Now. It is of vital importance!
