Hello and Good day!

I'm getting ready to install some new stereo equipment and am selling the subwoofer box I've got in the car now. The box is ported and fits behind the rear seat into the spare tire well super snug.This is a super easy way to enhance your stereo regardless of having Harmon Kardon or not. To get power to the capacitor you can tap into the cigarette lighter in the back of the car and behind the same panel is where the amp is. You'll need a Line input output adapter to tap into a left and right channel speaker. If you can locate one of the 6x9's that's best. I've done this to two of my cars. I've owned two mini's, one with Harmon Kardon and one without.

There are a few small indentations from having something heavy on the back board but doesn't effect it's function.

This is a general looking input output adapter. You need this and a set of RCA cables to the amp for sound. This is a basic one of these but it's all that's needed.

 

This box is extremely well done; unfortunately when I get around to upgrading my audio system I'm looking at 2x10s or 2x12s. Are you custom building the box and surrounding area for the new setup as well? If so, you should make a progress/tutorial post so the rest of us can learn a little!

 

Thanks a lot Cloverask! That's kind of you to say. I spent a lot of hours making measurements and putting this thing together. I have photos of the process and should post them on a custom build thread. I'm not sure why I haven't really and thank you for the kind words. Yes, I'll be building a whole new "area" for the new amps and speakers. My plan is a single 12 and 2 10's or 8's. Plus the additional 10 for the HK standard speaker placements too. I'll be adding 4 new amps plus a DSP unit so I can still use the stock head unit and controls. Looking very forward to getting started on the building process. Thanks again for the kind post.

 

You're welcome! I'm sure the new setup is going to be even better - it's too much for what I was planning, but maybe I can take some tips for your build process. Good luck getting your current build sold, as clean as it looks you should have an easy sell.
