R53 Race Style Pedals
Although I do actually like the stock pedals, they can be a bit slippery at times.
I like the Rennline pedals:

But they are pretty damn pricey...
...and I'd rather have the Porsche perforated style to the rubber buttons:

Ultimate Pedals used to sell a MINI specific set:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post1824283
...but I don't think they're available anymore.
Performance Pedals is somewhat similar to the above though:

I looked for BMW application as well because I'd reckon they'd fit no probbo...
...in that regard,
I like the BimmerWorld version the best:
https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-Inte...nsmission.html
Turner has a set which is very similar:

So,
any variants or options that I'm missing and need to take a look at?
Links appreciated,
thanks!
Also,
any personal experience anecdotes/opinions with aftermarket pedals is much welcomed!

In the meantime,
I went poboy hobo and splashed out $33 for a set of OMP OA/1010.
Just got them in the mail so haven't installed yet, will try to remember to report on how I like them after I put them on.
Here they are installed on an M3:

I like that the clutch pedal is cut in a manner which allows for easier leftfootbraking,
and supposedly the brake pedal has the extra meat allowing for better heel/toe.
And,
just because relevant...

I think the ones you bought are the best looking of all the others. Bonus of good price. No rubber buttons to wear out. Easy to clean. Might buy a set myself. Can’t see paying a lot for the others that do t look any better.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

How do you like them? What's entailed in the installation process? Do you have any pictures of them after installation? I'm building my r53 for time attack and hill climbs. I wear US size 13 shoes, so left foot braking and heel toeing is a pain with the stock pedals. So I'm hoping something like this will help a bit. Thanks in advance!

So I ended up getting a set of these and mounting them up. I haven't driven with them yet because it's pouring down rain here in the NW but here's my post on installing.

Finally got around to installing these pedals.
What I did to solve the deadpedal dilemma was order a cheap $20 set of the OMP 1020 pedals and used that gas pedal as my new footrest utilizing 3" bolts with spacers and it sits perfectly now. Didn't bother with reinstalling cover cap though so looks a bit ugly but I plan on getting a plain R50 deadpedal cover next time I'm at the boneyard and using that because it'll look more finished.
I am tremendously happy with these pedals, heel & toe is so much easier like blipshift city!
They just feel great too.
Very pleased indeed.
