Howdy all. It's been a few years since I last logged onto NAMA. I'm back as my 06 R52 is headed to the salvage yard after a guest driver got into a wreck and the insurance company bought her off me. I'm in the market for a new (to me) Mini and am looking for a convertible in spice/metallic orange. Preferably without the racing stripe on the bonnet. Given the relative scarcity of this color vs others, starting off with this and will look into various packages and other customized options later.
I'm hitting up cars.com, craigstlist, and reddit and casting a wider net to see if there are any other folks who might be interested in selling but whom haven't posted yet.
I'm located in the SF Bay Area and could travel up to a two hour Southwest flight away.

since the day of the accident i looked at the complete us from la to ny for an orange r57 and found a couple non-s..mine was a JCW...i settled on a 09 laser blue mettallic S but its not my orange
Yeah, this is what happened to mine. Estimate was 4-5K to fix the things they could see were banged up. And that's without confirming the frame was bent. In the world of mini vs truck, truck will win...
Unfortunately life changes and we are moving to a 2 car garage so no room for a 3rd car. After making my Spice Orange MINI Roadster pretty much perfect, I will have to sell. If anyone interested PM me and I will send details.
