Dropped into in Hastings and read the 03 MCS report in Automobile. They were very complementary about the BRG MCS they'd driven for the last year. They had it upgraded with a JCW kit part way through the test. They were less enthusiastic about the performance/dollar ratio of the JCW mod.

Check it out. I think I'll resubscribe to Automobile, it's a good mag and only $1.00 an issue if you subscribe. I haven't checked to see if you can read the article at www.automobilemag.com but you might want to give that a check also.

 

I saw the article-- 36,000 miles with zero mechanical problems? And yes like you I like Automobile magazine, especially the design critiques. Good solid all around car mag. Jimbo

 

I have subscribed non-stop since the late 80's... the magazine has done nothing but improve. Jean Jennings is a fantastic replacement for David E Davis too... and the design critiques are the BEST!

The article along with the newest Consumer Reports goes a long way towards the Mini gaining credibility on the qualitp product front.

 

I subscribed to Automobile and Road and Track a few years ago. Both subscriptions ran out a few months ago. Haven't missed Road and Track much but I do miss Automobile. Re-subscribed to Automobile on line last night.:smile:
