How do I remove the interior light housing assembly....

OK, what is the magic that it takes to remove the front interior light module so I can replace the bulbs in there, car is a 2006 R52.....I have saved & watched all the videos that I could find, I have tried very carefully to get this module out for fear of breaking something.....it's still attached.....there has to be a trick, magic code, or secret handshake to remove this, but I have not found it........so I'm at a loss here as to how to proceed

I also popped the rear view mirror loose from it's anchor point and I can't get it to re-attach......I should have stayed in bed today

Nobody has any help for this? The service manual is useless ........

I also need help in getting the rear view mirror back on, the spring clips are still in the mirror bracket, but I can't get it to snap back on the metal bracket on the car.

Tinkered with the R52 a bit today.....finally got that dome light panel out of the car to replace the three #194 bulbs up there with the LED bulbs I bought.....I really thought I was gonna break the housing trying to get it un-snapped from the header panel.....there is no reason that light module has to be in there that tight.....replaced the bulbs, and snapped it back in.....I finally got my inside rear view mirror re-installed back on it's mounting point also....I had to take the plastic covers off of the mounting bracket that's attached to the mirror, then put the covers back on after I got the mounting snapped back into place. I'll try and get a few pics of the LED's in action when I get back out to the garage
