Broken Hood Latch
Sad to say my 2014 Mini Cooper S Coupe has the dreaded "broken hood latch cable" problem. Seems like all the Minis eventually suffer this malady! Has anyone convinced Mini to take responsibility for this and fix under a special warranty??

I have not heard of a TSB or anything on this, the gen 1 MINIs had an issue also and it was the salt and rust that corroded the cables.
