Madness V2 header

anyone see this yet looks very nice! not sure about the 2 piece design though. (leaks?) looks very well made and look at the changes made from their V1. inlets now oval shape to match exhaust ports on the MINI heads (V1 had round ports), full polished 316 stainless, jet-hot coating available, the best surprise...price reduced to $699!!! they've finnally come to their senses. old header was over $1K!! good job madness!!!

HMMM. I'll wait for some test monkeys to report. I like the cat/test pipe sections.

The whole package looks good, but its only $699 with the race pipe, its 1k if you want the cat, and its 1100 if you want both, but to some it would be worth it bc you can interchange them.

Looks does not = more power.

Doesn't sound like the total price is that much changed but if you have all the optional parts you can choose to omit the cat or not.

Generally with MINI headers, no race cat usually means exhaust is louder and no measurable increase in HP when dynoed.

This is a 4 into 1 design so not much different than many of the other headers out there.

If anyone finds on dyno that this header adds to power then please do post it.

are you sure about this? it didn't say that anywhere on the site so i just assumed that the header came with both pipes and was just an amazing deal. in that case -- bad form Madness!!!

edit: just went back to the site and since my first post the price on the site has been relisted as $899! add $200 for race cat and $300 if you want both cat and test pipe. BOOO-HISSSS

I hope the setup with the race pipe comes with an 02 simulator so that the computer doesn't throw a code. If it doesn't, what a rip-off. For $700 if the 02 sims are included I say it's almost reasonable.

Just unplug it, or buy a $25 O2 sim.
