R55 non-s and JCW grill style conversion

This may have been addressed at some point for pre 2010 R55/6 but I couldn't find it. Is there a part number or instructions available for a jcw style grille to be put on a non-s 2009 r55? I know some have gone the black paint route but I'd rather change it for the egg crate style.

As it stands all my searches dealt with post 2010's as it's possible on those with only replacing the lower chrome filler.

I haven't checked it out, but I've been told that the S and JCW grilles (upper and lower) will not fit a base 2nd Gen. I believe that part of the issue is that the design of the S and JCW requires a little more room for the turbo.

Good luck and keep us informed on what you find.

Well, it seems as it's only the lower trim I need to replace, this guy did it to his R56 and is the look I'm after. http://r56mini.com/2009/02/28/aerogr...#comment-86800
Left a message but his blog has been silent for over a year. :(
