Outmotoring JCW Style Grill
I installed the grill yesterday with no issues, went right on and didnt have to take the bumber off to install the lower grill (03 MCS).
The question I have is because my MCS is silver, now when you look at the front of the car you can easily see the center support bracket of the upper grill since the JCW grill is more open. This is still day one for me so I am not sure if I like that or if I should try some how to color it black....any opinions??? And if so, what is the best way to color that black because I dont think taking off the grill is an option without destorying the grill.
Thanks.

I did the same grill swap-out on my 2002 Dark Silver MCS and noticed the same thing. I was also thinking of paintaing the bracket, but am afraid that if I remove those cheap fasterners that there is no way they'll saty on once I try to reinstall the grill. I'm now consider using a fine brush and painting the bracket with flat black paint.

For a quick and easily reversible solution you can try some gaffers tape. I have rolls of it for photography, it's wide like duct tape but has a matte black finish (which would hide/blend better than a glossy finish), also it's very sticky but removes easily without any residue which is good in case you decide you want to go back to the silver. It might be worth a shot since it's quick and cheap (Amazon sells it by the roll for under $5).
