New Countryman owner, looking for wheel help

Hey everybody,

New Countryman owner. Picked up a 14 All4 S a couple weeks ago. Silver with black top. My wife is not a big fan of the wheels so we are on the hunt and looking for some help from a group of people who know the cars. Looking for a solid retro style wheel in black 17, 18, or 19". Also not looking to break the bank. I attached a picture of the wheel she really likes, but its $700 each. So looking for any pics or ideas that people might have for maybe up to 200 each. Thanks in advance for any input.

Go to Tirerack.com or similar and it will show you what wheels look like on your car.

Obviously it is a personal choice, but those wheels above are pretty far out and not very MINIish.

I yanked the stock wheels & runflat tires off our 2015 CMS All4 as soon as we got it home last month. I installed stock size 225/45/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ non runflat tires on the optional MINI 18” Silver Fan Spoke wheels and it transformed the look and feel of the car! I highly recommend the 18” Fan Spoke Wheels....they are easy to clean & look awesome on the Countryman. I’m amazed that so many Countryman’s come with the standard 17” wheels that are ok but plain Jane looking imo!

Those wheels look like something that belongs on a modded '57 Chev Belair...... not on a MINI

A lot of the fifteen52 wheels have that sort of retro feel, but in a modern way. They run about $200 per.

As 02fanatic above said, the turbo fan wheels look good and very MINI. I have a set of 18” turbofan wheels on mine that I painted black and they look pretty sharp IMO.

Just remember that as you go up in wheel size, the ride quality does suffer, mine rides stiff and hard, but that’s how I like it, lol.... that sounds dirtier than it was intended:-/

MrGrumpy ... looks great, thanks for posting the photo. I like the black wheels. I'm thinking now of black wheels, smaller profile tires for my local driving and then add some BF Goodrich AT on the OEM wheels I have now for those times I head west to camp off-road.

Sorry, but those wheels are hideous. Keep the car fur awhile, and don't over think it.
