2013 Mini Cooper S with dealer JCW kit

I'm going tonight to look at local car for sale, 2013 Mini Cooper S hardtop with dealer added JCW kit. Is this only cosmetic or does it include the upgraded exhaust, engine tuning etc?

I've been looking and it appears it's just wheels and the body kit.

Any help appreciated.

Does it have the JCW logo on the left side of the trunk (Cooper S logo still on the right)? Exhaust would have tips with JCW engraved on top as well. If ECU tune installed, there'd be a placard inside the engine bay. Most likely just the JCW Exterior package which is body kit and wheels

Thanks for the info, I'll find out tonight

I hope it has the engine tune.

Only had the body kit and wheels. Kinda bummed, but still tempting.

Gotta think about it, been dreaming of owning a Cooper S or JCW for several years and I think this year is one of the best. There are always upgrades to bring it closer to the JCW.

Stage 1 tune would get the power close to JCW stock, Stage 2 would push you over for sure. 2013 is IMO the best year for the 2nd gen, as they've worked out most of the small kinks (plus the JCW gets the much more reliable N18 engine). But I'm biased

Unless you want to spend a lot of money in upgrades trying to match, I would look for the real thing.

Also it's in a color that isn't my favorite, Eclipse Grey. I'll likely wait till I find one with the mileage and color I want. Either MCS or JCW.
