I am new one, I love mini cooper so much. I just purchased 2011 mini coopers was 900k miles.(English is not my first language, I try my best describe the details) When I start up the engine and the headlight rotary **** on automatic ( like A ) the headlight filed warring light is on, When I turn off the headlight (like o)then start up the engine the headlight filed warring light doesn't on. But some time when I start up the engine, the headlight is flashing else the rotary **** automatic or off. Please help me find the problem and share any experience to me. Thanks a lot.

 

On my 2010 after much frustration trying to find the cause it turned out it is the rear fog light that plays up.

Turn your rear fog light on, if it doesn't come on check the bulb (stick your hand behind and it just untwists to come off), however on mine the bulb is fine and I usually just have to wiggle that connector and the fog light will then turn on.
