So does your interior rattle or does your sun roof rattle? Or both ??

It’s both .... I drive and hear squeaky all the time. I press the sunroo panel and it stops. I hear rattle from boot interior and rear doors

Wouldn't be a MINI without squeaks and rattles. You need to drive with another person who can touch various parts of the car until you can identify the rattles and apply some sound deadening cloth tape or similar. And once you have all that sorted, be prepared for more rattles to appear later on. I gave up, just play the music louder has been my cure.

My 2015 All4 S sometimes rattles from the sunroof (the rear panel) when I drive with them popped up in vent mode. Definitely got better when I ditched the run flats. I think the sliding sun shade is a potential culprit. It seems to be loose and then tight depending on how far it is pushed in or pulled out. Still trying to figure it out. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

It can be done!

I bought a 2012 CMS a few months ago. I was expecting some rattles/noises as all the reviews indicated they were an issue.

I still have run flats (yikes!).

I had rattles and buzzes all over. As described above, rack them down one by one. Loose door panel, speedometer trim, sunroof etc. Sometimes all it takes is some "percussive maintenance" to address.

I am now buzz and rattle free. I have driven down long rough dirt roads without any return of the buzz and rattle storm that was in the car when I bought it.

Good luck! Replacing the tires and turning up the music also seem like great advice.
