iPhone X cable

I have a 2013 Countryman S All4 with bass stereo. What cable do you guys use to stream music from an iPhone X?
the iPhone X doesn’t have the headphone jack on it.

Thanks in advance!!

I have a iphone 8. Many people use the Viseeo Tune2air Bluetooth adapter.
Check out this thread:

There are lots of threads that discuss this adapter:

Thanks guys for the replies!
When I bought the car there was no cable with it. So I need a cable or Bluetooth like stated above.
I’ve read reviews of some cables. Some not so good. That’s why I want to know what others use so I get one that works.

Thanks again!!

I didn't read that XD Sorry! This is the cable I bought!

Still going well and cheaper than the stock one! just throw an apple adapter on it and you're good! Just make sure the adapter you get is from Apple, as they have the DAC in it!

If you're talking about the Y cable that has a USB and a mini jack on one end and a 30 pin connector on the other......
I use the same cable on my Pioneer system in my Suburban. When I upgraded to a phone that uses the Apple Lightning plug I bought an adaptor from apple. Overpriced, but works like a champ. I'm currently using it with my iPhone X.

I use an iPhone X with my 2012 Countryman. You can do it by using your regular lightening to usb cord, and a separate 4 conductor audio cable, and use the headphone adapter and a lightning Y splitter, you can pick them up at Best Buy or something like that for about ten bucks, works just fine

you bet, I’ll include a photo of the set-up also. But what I use is the lightning cable (Apples charging cord) and an audio cord, with a splitter, there are 2 types that I have and both work. (More info w/photos) the other important thing is to make sure you use a 4-conductor audio extension! The most common headphone type ones that you see are 3-conductor cables. This is important as well. You can tell the difference by the number of “rings” on the
plug. (I don’t remember why ATM, but it is an important
difference for this use) in the middle picture you can see the audio cord. The 4-conductor plug has 3 rings with 4 conductors as shown. Typical cords have 2 rings and 3 conductors.
Hope this helps, if I can do anything else, just let me know.
Good luck!

MINI sold these cables with the lightning adapter for a while (I have the X and a '14 R60) and works great. The cable was expensive through the dealer, but it's all one piece.

ANyone know if we can still find this lightning Y cable from Mini? I got a amazon cheap thing, and it is a sketchy connection-my phone shows connecting/disconnecting over and over.

Only the oem Mini one works 100%, but some others come close. I've never heard of an aftermarket one where the album art displays.

I just got the Belkin adapter thing, with 4 conductor mic cords--the solution User MrGrumpy posted about, it works great, I get album art and good audio quality. Havent tried phone calls through the car yet.
