Mini clubman 2016 comfort access

hi,
just got a 2016 mini clubman and it’s does not come with comfort access. How do I fit one without making a hole in my pocket.

Some claim all the newer cars are pre-wired, and it's only a matter of coding, but I don't know if this is true.

bimmer-tech is not a MINI friendly company from what I found in the past. I contacted them about the amp which many have used in BMW & MINI but they were unhelpful when they heard I had a MINI.

Have you heard differently? Also OP might consider that cost a hole in pocket.
