Mini warranty, turbo replaced
My 2011 MCS turbo has been giving me periodic CEL with boost plausibility error. I had fixed many components and was finally convinced that the turbo was needing to be replaced. The main issue I believe is that the wastegate does not seat properly. About 2-3 months ago I received a letter from MINI stating that the turbo was covered for 10 years/ 120,000 miles. Mine has 110,000 miles. I took it to the MINI dealer and they agreed that the turbo should be replaced under warranty. They also said there was a recall on the auxiliary water pump and they also replaced it. Total cost, $0. Yeah, thanks MINI.

Good thing you did the recall. Its been causing fires.
Yep the aux pump will be recalled, letters are not going out till june from what i saw. Glad you got it covered on both.
