Mini Cooper 2007 Has AUX port no AUX menu in Wave Radio

As i stated in topic description my Mini Cooper 2007 has Wave radio (single line screen) aux port is present but there is no aux selection in radio menus. Any tip how i can resolve this would be great as i really happened to finally use something better than FM radio transmitter ...
And more more thing would AUX menu on radio be always present or just when aux connection is detected

Press the m button (directly underneath the music symbol) until you see you see AUX.

Yes, the m button. It should cycle to FM/CD/AUX.
If that doesn't work, try the Mode button.

We do not have the Wave system here in the USA (the lowest system is Boost), and the buttons are arranged differently. You should have a button for selecting between radio and CD, and Aux should appear as one of the options (it might indeed be the case that Aux isn't displayed unless something is connected). You should probably use your Mode button (there is no Mode button on the Boost system).

Nop
I needed to learn to use NCS expert (2 days of constant watching YT and reading)
Ordered cable, wasted 2 more days to find working NCS expert
Overal 5-6 days over 1 month wasted just to enable AUX which i dont use in the end
But it works now

Hey, thanks a lot for your feedback it was really uselfull. Already began doing some research online. Ive also find Icarly connector and App that seems to be doing the same job as NCS but supper easy, too good to be real. Are you aware of this tool?
About NCS, do you know if the complete lists can be download for free or i will surely have to pay for those.
Thanks again !!

So my 2008 R55 just had the same issue happen today. Was going to plug my iphone8 into the aux cord (which is a few weeks old and has worked great) and nothing worked no sound. Then cycled through the menu options and all of a sudden the aux and usb options are both gone for no reason. I also can’t select other options in the radio menu now, only tuner or radio.

so how does it work using this NCS expert program and what is needed to do so? Any ideas why this would just all of a sudden happen? Not charging at the same time. Just plugged into the aux input only.
