R50/53 Use my MINI to advertise a small business?
Anyone doing this? I cringe at the rolling billboard type of graphics, but what if I got a few small and tasteful signs/logos on my MINI that advertised my business? Would this qualify as a company car? Could I write-off ALL of my mileage as a business expense?
Anyone who has experience with this, I would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

I've seen a LY/B in Orange County CA, that looks like a rolling billboard for a company that installs garage doors (or something very similiar). whoever did the graphics really did a nice job. not cheesy at all and it really stands out!
you can use it for advertisement & ammortize the expenses/payments etc.
OR if you get someone to sponsor you -- then they typically make the car payments as "salary" for you driving around and advertising for them.
if you truly use your car for business and not for pleasure, it's a write off. otherwise you have to do an honest percentage.

That's exactly what I plan on doing with my car. I'm going to put our company web address across the back window... but do it tastefully.
We're also in talks with another company to start a business wrapping band vans that are on tour with our logo and stuff. So maybe I'll test it out on one of my cars and see how it looks.
I'll post pictures when it happens.

My Dad does this with his truck. I don't know all the details but I do know he only has 2 logo styickers on the truck, niether one being bigger than about two hands. He even put the stickers kinda low to the ground, on the sides, so that they aren't the first thing you see. He does use the truck twice a month to drive from Northern California, to Arizona, for buisness.
