New York State required me to remove 50% tint on front windows in order to pass inspection, you may required to do the same depending on how close attention your inspection station pays to the windows. I have been driving MINIs since 2002 with some level of tint on them and this was the first time I’ve had to comply.

yeah thats something the started last year. My Audi i had 20% tint front and 5% rear. Fortunately my inspection guy is a car guy so he passes my cars. In any rate the mini has 40% tint all around so it should be ok if i were to bring it anywhere else....not sure how u failed for 50% but according to my guy he said as long as it’s above 35% it will pass.

I have 35% on the rears they let go, but wouldn’t pass with 50% on the fronts. The law says 70% is the max allowed.

Sharp looking MINI and BMWs. Can you rearrange the lineup in the driveway for us. The MINI needs to be closer to the house and not sticking out into the road.

Great job on your mods. That is one thing I read about when I bought my first Mini a few years ago, that you are always wanting to go for a drive. That is still true today and a reason you piled on some miles on your. Have fun.

thanks bud! couple more things I've done & on the hopper.

Installed a JB+ tune yesterday....man my daily commute is gonna be so much fun now. I just love what a tune does to a turbocharged car.....same reaction I had 16yrs ago when I chipped my B5 audi.

since replacing my speakers & ghost subs to Bavsound, it wasn't enough so I ordered this the other day (an amp to power the ghost subs). Hopefully I get a bit more mid-bass with this thing wired up

Nice Countryman! Glad you are enjoying it so much. I love to drive mine! And when you decide that the JB+ just isn’t doing it for you anymore, you can get an ECU tune for even better performance! Talk to Mariokart to make it go.
My son and I just did a nice long and.....spirited ;-) drive with my local Mini club and it is just so much fun to run with a huge group of other MINI’s..something you might want to think about checking into.
