Door locks and shut off remote stopped working

Had my 2015 mini cooper s in for a reprogram of the computer... it was a recall. Upon return, a few gremlins have popped up. 1st, must put my key fob up to the steering column to start the car. 2nd, when exiting the car, the button that shuts down the radio, turns off interior lights and locks the doors has stopped working. Anyone else have these issues? Thanks in advance.

Other than guessing that they didn't properly restore the coding for your particular vehicle options I have no idea. But do you mind if I ask a question. What was the recall?

I don't actually know what the specific recall was. Went in for regular service (oil change) and air conditioner service, and the service clerk said there was a recall to update the software for the car's computer. I didn't have any issues. Anyway, now a display on the infotainment screen tells me that I have to put key fob up to the steering column to start car, and when I click the button on the fob to lock doors and turn off all of the accessories inside the car, nothing happens. Go figure. Will have to call the service dept on Monday.
