Center Mounted Tach?
I enjoy watching R53 videos and came across this oddity which I've never seen before fitted to an Australian racecar...

Thanks for the quick answer.
I was just curious as it seemed a bit odd. I much prefer the tach to be directly in front of the driver
and I applaud MINI's bold decision to singularly put it there.
Although the design seems a bit busy to my eye.
I may experiment with a thin dark vinyl circular overlay which is translucent enough to allow the lights through, yet still have a "black out" effect,
something very similar to this Seat León Cupra design,
which I think is more easily readable...
